Good Housekeeping’s Appetizer Book – 1958

The Good Housekeeping’s Appetizer Book, irresistible canapes, hor d’oeuvres, and nibblers. This is the first cook booklet from Good housekeeping’s series of 20 cookbooks published in 1958. I was lucky enough to find the entire binder of this series, so I have extras to sell.

As with all of the cookbooks from this series, this is filled with great and interest recipes, fun vintage food photography, and of course the awesome vintage illustrations. Someone really had fun with some of the recipe names in this one!  ”Snappy Dunk”, “Tasty Sticks”, “Meat Frosties”, “Planetary Frankfurters”,  ”Nibbler Lorraine”, “Nippy Cheese Dunk”, and many more.

This copy is in good condition, apart from the rip seen on the cover. The inside pages are crisp and clean, with a small edge fold on one page.
