24 Secrets of Cottage Cheese Cookery – Kan-Sun Cottage Cheese “It Tastes Better”. Date is unknown, 1940′s perhaps? The history of this little recipe booklet is a mystery to me. Somehow I ended up with two of them, yet I am finding no mention of them on the web.

This little 4″ x 6″, 20 page goodie is pretty damned cool, even in its sparseness. it contains 24 “secret” recipes for cottage cheese, and some really nifty illustrations. Not a lot of illustrations, but what is has a neat!

The only info I have on this baby is that it was probably produced by the Sealright Company, and then separate dairies or distributors put their name on it. Hence the “Kan-Sun” info being in black in while the cover text below is in brown ink.

This baby is in near mint condition with almost no wear, tears or staining. The cover does have a slightly darker spot as you can see, but it does not transfer to the next page.
