Okay, maybe that title is a bit much, but hey… here it is… the full collection of cookbooks from the Good Housekeeping series from 1958.

This series of cookbooks is often found, piece by piece at antique and thrift stores, but the cool thing with this collection is finding the original binder filled with the whole series. And I finally did!

It was a series of 20 cookbook-lets which came in a hip green binder with gold text. The cookbooks were held in by removable wire rods.

This series offered a huge range of recipes, from questionable to good.  And the coolness factor for me has always been the awesome illustration styles, cool fonts, and interesting food photography.  I’m honored to finally have this in my collection. (and my duplicate copies will go up for sale when I have time.)

Here is a list of the cookbooks included in this fine collection.

No. 1 – Good Housekeeping’s Appetizer Book

No. 2 – Good Housekeeping’s Book of Cookies
