Bologna Cushions Recipe

Bologna, baloney! Call it what you will. I even added a recipe category for the illustrious mystery meat known as… bologna… baloney! This interesting recipe comes from the 50′s-ish Mexican Cookery for American Homes from Gebhardt’s. And now, the Bologna Cushions recipe!
On a slice of bologna place a heaping tablespoon of Gebhardt’s Chili con Carne, plain or with beans. Top with second slice of bologna. Pin edges of bologna slices together in four places. Place in shallow baking pan, brush with melted butter or margarine and bake at 400 degrees F. for 30 minutes.
And that is it! In a bit over a half hour you can make this “hi-brow” white trash meal for you and your family!
