Thrifty Good Eating – Skinner Dinners: Taste Better, Cook Better, Look Better! There is no date is this little recipe brochure, but I’m guessing late 50′s early 60′s. While I had never heard of the Skinner Company, apparently there is some history to the name and they live on today, in some manner.
This recipe brochure is just that, a tri-fold brochure with 10 delicious new recipes. The cover photo is excellent, and it has a few nice food shots inside, as well as some fun 50′s era illustrations. The focus is on macaroni based meals as Skinner was apparently the largest macaroni factory is the United States.
