Treats with tuna vintage cookbook Treats with Tuna – Basic Recipes, Easy Variations, Special Dishes, published by Westgate-California Tuna Packing, Co. in 1958. This promotional cookbook features recipes with “Breast-o-Chicken” brand Tuna”. (I’m not sure of the connection with chicken and tuna in the brand name… anyone know the story here?) This cookbook cover has an elegant and modern feel, with a nice page layout featuring black & white food photos, recipe card designs for the recipes, and nice modern illustrations of the time.

This is a sweet little cookbook with a good selection of recipes that will delight lovers of canned tuna, or maybe even lovers of fresh tuna! Enjoy!
