praise for the cook vintage cookbookPraise For The Cook, published in 1959, is a Crisco promotional cookbook.  it is filled with cute illustrations of that period (as seen on the cover), and is filled with recipes that use Crisco… of course!  The recipes actually look okay for the most part, and we’ll be adding many of them to our online recipe collection.
